About the Project

Acceptance of students and their enrollment
The number of students each academic year entering the module cooperation program will be limited to 10 from each partner university. Partner institutions agree to accept the students on the condition they:

  • are enrolled as the students of Master study programs: “Agrarian Trade and Marketing” (SUA) or “Marketing Management in Agri-food Complex/Agrarian and Trade and Marketing” (RT SAU),
  • are able to follow courses in English and show ability of fundamentals of Russian language.
Students can apply through an application form which can be obtained in each of the universities awarding the degree, but applications have to be sent to the home university before October, 31 for the newly starting Master degree program. No tuition fees will be charged by the receiving institutions. Expenses for insurance, for travel, and for living costs in the host country will be the responsibility of the participating student. Partner universities may activate support and scholarships for students, participating at the Program of Module Cooperation. For financial support to use calls and opportunities of International Visegrad fund ( www.visegradfund.org) or National Grant Program ( www.stipendia.sk) is recommended.

Organization of the Program of Module Cooperation
The Program of Module Cooperation is organized at both universities at the following principles:
  • The first semester students study at their home universities. They are obliged to pass the main obligatory courses of the study program based on the structure of the study program. During the first semester a student has to decide on the topics of his/her diploma work/scientific project and his/her supervisor (at home university) and consultant (at host university). Language of instruction is Slovak and Russian. There is strong recommended to take the course of English or Russian in order to be able to follow lectures abroad either in English or Russian language.
  • The second semester students from SUA and RT SAU study at the SUA. They are obliged to pass courses according to structure approved and attached to this agreement/see Table 1 and/or other additional courses in national language to fulfill the requirement of accredited study program. Optionally, the research and scientific practice/or diploma seminar in Slovakia can be a part of the module. Language of instruction is English. As a part of the study in Slovakia the students are advised to take the course of Business English.
  • The third semester students from SUA and RT SAU study at the RT SAU. They are obliged to pass courses according to structure approved and attached to this agreement and research practice/see Table 1 and/or other additional courses in national language to fulfill the requirement of accredited study program. Language of instruction is Russian and English. As a part of the study in Russia the students are advised to take the course of Business Russian.
  • The fourth semester students study at their home universities. They are obliged to pass the main obligatory courses of the study program based on the structure of the study program. During the forth semester a student has to submit his/her scientific/diploma work and pass state exam. Language of scientific/diploma work is Slovak and Russian with the extended summary in English/5 – 10 pages or separated author’s abstract.

    NOTE 1.: In case of necessity the students can attend also other courses offered in English/Slovak, or ask for changes maximum in 6 ECTS

  • Master students from SUA as their home university will obtain a master degree in „Agrarian Trade and Marketing” at SUA. Master students from RT SAU will obtain a master degree in „Marketing management in Agri-Food complex/Agrarian Trade and Marketing“at RT SAU.
  • During the study, each university will send to the second university a Transcript of Records to summarize all measurable achievements (ECTS, grades) during one semester achieved at another university. All records will be a part of a diploma supplement with full recognition of all ECTS credits obtained during the master program. A diploma supplement will be used indicating all obtained ECTS credits with specification of training hours, language of instruction, the place where the course had been followed and all other relevant details.
