CHANGING HUNGARIAN FARM CLUSTERS BEFORE THE ACCESSION

Abstract:
The Accession played a very important role in both Central and Eastern European Countries including Hungary as well. This paper tries to identify the changes in farm clusters based on two different years, year 2000 and 2004 using the Hungarian FADN database. These years are good examples because there was no significant difference between them from agricultural aspect. The FADN contains detailed micro economical information about farms. Summarisation and processing these data may receive valuable and useful results for the entire agriculture and make using multivariate exploratory technics possible. The same methodology was used in both years which make the result comparable.
