Development of Investment Environment of the Region of South Bohemia

Anotácia:
Celkové investice pobídkových firem do hmotných a nehmotných aktiv od roku 1999 významně rostou a pozitivně ovlivňují platební bilanci, tvorbu hrubého domácího produktu a vytváří potenciál ke snižování nezaměstnanosti v České republice. Jihočeský kraj však patří mezi regiony s velice nízkou absorpcí investičních příležitostí a tempo růstu investiční aktivity je u domácích i zahraničních firem výrazně pomalejší než ve většině ostatních krajů. Příspěvek hodnotí současný stav i vývoj investičního a podnikatelského prostředí na základě analýzy investičních projektů především z oblasti zpracovatelského průmyslu, technologických center a strategických služeb. Příspěvek byl vypracován v rámci řešení grantu GA ČR č. 402/06/0903.

Abstract:
The total investments of incentive companies into material and intangible assets has been increasing significantly since 1999 influencing positively the balance of payments, creation of the domestic gross product and the potential for a gradual decrease of unemployment in the Czech Republic. The region of South Bohemia belongs among regions with a low absorption ability of investment opportunities and the pace of investment activity of domestic and foreign companies is significantly slower than in the majority of other regions. The contribution evaluates the current situation and development of investment and business environment based on the analysis of investment projects mainly from manufacturing industry, technological centres and strategic services. The contribution has been developed within the grant of GA ČR No. 402/06/0903.
