SYSTEMIC AND PROBLEM-SOLVING INTERPRETATION OF SOCIOLOGY: WAY OF HUMANIZATION OF INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETY

Anotácia:
Príspevok charakterizuje sociológiu ako nástroj humanizmu. Samotný predmet tejto vedy ju predurčuje k tomu, aby plnila funkciu humanizácie. Obsah predmetu sociológie je závislý od definovania jej fundamentálneho problému. Súhlasne s J.H. Turnerom možno sociológiu chápať ako snahu interpretovať procesy inštitucionalizácie a deinštitucionalizácie. Dosiahnutie určitej celostnosti, konkrétnosti a relatívnej použiteľnosti vedomostí z tohto odboru umožňuje realizácia systémového a problémového výkladu. Štúdium sociológie tak človeku napomáha rozširovať svoje poznanie o jednotlivcovi, skupinách, spoločnosti a rôznorodých sociálnych vzťahoch a procesoch. Relatívna celostnosť, konkrétnosť a aplikovateľnosť vedomostí z tohto odboru sa potom stáva nástrojom humanizácie človeka i spoločnosti.

Abstract:
The paper characterizes sociology as an instrument of the humanism. Subject of sociology predetermines sociology to fulfil the function of humanization. Subject content of sociology is dependent on a definition of its fundamental problem. We can understand the sociology approvingly with J. H. Turner as an effort to interpret processes of institutionalization and deinstitutionalization. Realization of the systemic and problem-solving interpretation enables to achieve the complete, concrete and relatively useful sociological knowledge and skills. Thus, the study of sociology enables to extend the knowledge about an individual, the groups and classes, the society and about the various social relationships and processes. Relative entirety, factualness and utility of sociological knowledge then become the instrument of humanization of a man and society.
