RECOGNITION AND A RESPECT AS BASIC VALUES IN THE MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Anotácia:
Multikulturalizmus vníma množstvo kultúr ako nevyčísliteľné bohatstvo spoločnosti. Nová politická integrácia Európy si vyžaduje socializáciu všetkých občanov v spoločnej európskej kultúre. Predpokladom je uznanie a rešpektovanie ich univerzálnej ľudskej dôstojnosti ale aj uznanie rovnosti jedinečných foriem života jednotlivcov, pospolitostí, kultúr a eticko-politické sebaporozumenie. Požiadavku uznania rovných práv ale i požiadavku rovnej hodnoty rôznych kultúr dávajú do spojenia s politikou multikulturalizmu predstavitelia súčasného komunitarizmu. Podľa nich je politická socializácia a ochota občanov osvojiť si politickú kultúru v novom prostredí možná bez toho, aby sa museli vzdať pôvodnej kultúrnej formy života. Umožňuje im slobodné sebauskutočňovanie a nachádzanie spoločnej cesty vzájomnej dôvery a rešpektu, a zároveň ich ubezpečí, že sú rovnocennou súčasťou tohto spoločenstva.

Abstract:
Multiculturalism perceives many of the cultures as great wealth of the society. New political integration of the Europe requires a socialization of all citizens in common European culture. An assumption is the recognition and the respect of their universal human dignity and also the recognition of equality of the unexampled forms of the life of individuals, the communities, the cultures and ethical-political self-understanding. The representatives of contemporary communitarism relate the requirement of equality rights but also the requirement of equality values of various cultures with multicultural policy. In according to them the political acculturation and the willingness of the citizens is possible without giving up the origin cultural form of the life. This enables them the free self-realization and the finding of mutual trust, the respect and the assuring that they are equivalent part of this society as well.
