Regional differences in the conditions of life in Czech households

Anotácia:
Životní podmínky a životní úroveň obyvatelstva představují jeden z nejdůležitějších faktorů působících na rozvoj regionů. Jejich úroveň je nutnou podmínkou a zároveň i indikátorem celkového ekonomického rozvoje dané oblasti. Nízká životní úroveň a zhoršení životních podmínek mohou ve svém důsledku vést k odlivu obyvatelstva z daného území, což vyvolává snížení zájmu investorů o podnikání v takové oblasti a vede dále k dalšímu ekonomickému i sociálnímu propadu v regionu. Příspěvek se zabývá analýzou stavu a vývoje a posouzením stupně diferencí jednotlivých ukazatelů životních podmínek obyvatelstva v regionech ČR.

Abstract:
The conditions and levels of living of the population represent one of the the most important factors affecting regional development. Their levels are necessary condition and, at the same time, an indicator of the entire economic development of the given region.A low level of living and deterioraation of the conditions can subsequently bring an outflow of the population from the area studied, and that negatively affects interest of investors and entrepreneurs in such a region and brings further economic and social downfall in the region. The paper deals with an analysis of the situation and development and assessment of the degree of differencies of separate indicators of the conditions of living of the pupolation in the regions of Czech Republic.
